It is time to roll out the red carpet for The Oscars! We invite you to join us for this Ladies’ Night Out viewing event, hosted by Megan Watson at her home (1812 Tyburn Lane). Be paparazzi ready–wear your Oscar-worthy attire! This is the time to don that bridesmaid dress your friend swore you could wear again–or any other fabulous fashion concoction you can prepare!

Just an announcement of the upcoming Board meetings for the year! We will be meeting monthly at my house (2150 Meadowmont Drive) from 7pm-9pm, but of course, location may change as needed.
It is once again time to celebrate another successful Newcomers’ season! We will toast our current board and pass the torch to our new board members.
Our annual Changeover Meeting will be at Ann Marie Pirnat’s house (2150 Meadowmont Drive) at 7pm on Thursday, June 22, 2017. Current board members and next year’s board members should attend. Please bring a snack or treat to share! Drinks will be provided.
Join your Newcomer friends for a taste of the Mediterranean! Our annual Progressive Dinner is Saturday, June 3rd from 5pm to 10pm, and it is always a favorite on our calendar.
We will begin at Ann Marie Pirnat’s home for the appetizer and cocktail hour. Entrees will be catered by Mezza Grill 663 in Mt. Lebanon, and several lovely members (Elena Ouimette, Erin Urban, Bethany Salmen, and Frances Scher) have offered their homes for small groups to break off for entrees. We will then reconvene all together for dessert at Chele Lopacinski’s house (1677 Northgate Dr) . A great tour of Upper St Clair, wonderful food and outstanding company to share it with! RSVP right away!
It all starts at 5pm at 2150 Meadowmont Drive, USC .
$30 per couple
Dinner cost does not include alcoholic beverages. This year we are changing things up by asking couples to bring their own adult beverages, or to contact the entree hostess about bringing adult beverages to share with dinner.

Bring your bonnet and Easter basket to the family Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 25, from 10:00 – 12:00 at the McLaughlin Run Recreation Center.
Events include an egg hunt (divided by age groups), relay races, an egg parachute competition, and other “eggciting” activities.
Cost is either $10 per family OR 2 dozen plastic eggs filled with a wrapped candy (to be used for the egg hunt). We also ask that you bring a snack to share with the group.
In the RSVP, include names/ages of family members and payment option (filled eggs/ cash). Checks made out to “USC Newcomers’ Club” can be mailed to Sydna Burns at 2290 Cremona Drive; 15241.

Family dinner at Pizzaz Italian Restaurant on Thursday, February, 23rd at 6:00 pm. There’s plenty of room for us to spread out, catch up with friends, and of course, eat some delicious food.
We’ve reserved space for us to eat dinner together, and just need to know how many to plan for. Families are responsible for their dinner charges.
Join our USC High School Tailgate at 6pm in the high school parking lot at the top parking area near the Truxton Dr entrance. It’s a home game against West Allegheny High School. Chili and corn bread will be provided. Bring some dessert, drinks or finger food to share. The game starts at 7:30 pm and tickets can be purchased at the door so we can sit together. This is an “Open” event. Bring your family and invite any new neighbors or potential newcomers! Go Panthers!

Join us THIS SATURDAY, Sept 17th at the USC Municipal (Library- across from USC High School) Playground from 12-2pm. Bring the kids to play, sign up for a playgroup schedule and enjoy some refreshments! If you have a potential Newcomer friend who would like to meet us and learn about playgroups, please bring them along!
