Our annual Christmas brunch will be held on December 3rd at The Porch. This is one of our most popular events of the year, and for good reason! Brunch and a gift exchange – what’s not to love?
Bring a $20 gift to exchange. This gift should be one of your favorite things. When we exchange gifts, everyone gets a chance to explain why the gift they chose is their favorite thing.
Bunco is the first Wednesday night of the month! We’ll meet December 6th at 7pm at 1537 Fox Chase Lane. Bring $5 (which if you’re lucky you’ll win back) and a snack to share. See you there!
In December let’s use our creative muscle and go make something new at Fired Up Pottery Studio (4151 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317). We will be there Monday, December 11th to paint pottery, fused glass, mosaics or canvas.
Prices of the pieces range from $6-$100, and that includes all the paint and supplies needed, studio time, glazing, and firing. We’ll meet there at 5pm and be done by 8pm. A week later our items will be done. Kris can pick yours up if you won’t be able to! See you there!
The Community Affairs Committee is pleased to announce that our fall/winter community project has begun! We are asking for your help with donations for the “Treasures for Children” toy drive through the Salvation Army. The Newcomers Club requested 40 gift tags. Through the Facebook ask we’re already off to a good start.
The children’ ages range from newborn to 13 years old. Grab a tag and shop for a kid in need; you could even get your kiddos involved in the fun and have them pick out something!
