Let’s pack a lunch and explore where the Pirates make their magic happen!

Bring the whole family and join us for a Saturday morning tour of PNC Park on May 24, 2014. Learn baseball facts and have some swashbuckling fun on this 1.5 hour tour that will include:

  • Pirates Dugout and Warning Track
  • Batting Cages
  • Pittsburgh Baseball Club
  • Pop’s Plaza
  • Press Box

Tour begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. and will include 1.5 miles of walking. (Route is stroller/ wheel chair friendly.)

Cost is $6.00 per person, and children 5 and younger are free.

Make sure to pack a lunch for your family, and bring some spending money if you want to make a purchase in the gift shop at the end of the tour. Also, the Buccos take on the Washington Nationals that afternoon at 4:05 p.m. for those interested in extending your adventure on your own.

There are a limited number of spots for this exciting event. To RSVP for the Pirates Tour & Picnic at PNC Park, follow these two steps:

  1. RSVP on the website by April 15th
  2. Send payment to Julie Williams (300 Alamo Drive).

You are not considered registered until payment is received. We have to prepay and PNC Park requires a final head count.

There will be a Holiday Photo Booth, Card Making for local Veterans and Prizes for best/worst sweaters.

Besides the over five acres of pumpkins, Simmons Farm offers multiple field activities for children and adults:

-Hay maze and 4 acre corn maze and 2 acre corn maze
-100ft slide and smaller Fire Truck slide!
-Petting Zoo
-play Area

Weekend Extra Activities Include:

Pool Party!

Kids-Swimming

Mia has graciously offered to host a family pool party on July 18th from 2-4pm. The rain date will be the 19th. Mia’s backyard is equipped with lots of fun for kids of all ages — the pool, trampoline, tree house, driveway for bikes, and I know I’m forgetting some! We will have sitters there to help supervise the kids, and lite snacks will be provided.

Join Santa’s elves for an afternoon of reindeer games! (appearance by Rudolph unlikely)

Kids can make a craft, play some games and sing a few carols. Santa will stop by to hear what kids (and grown-ups) want this holiday season. It’s his busy season so we’re happy he can make time for us!

We’ll also have a late lunch accompanied by Snowflake Punch.
