Please join us at Mathe Groves’ home for October’s book club meeting to discuss John Green’s novel, The Fault In Our Stars. Even if, or perhaps especially, the last thing you read was Good Night Moon please come for the laughter, food and drinks. I know this has been written often, but if you don’t have time to read the book please come anyway. Reading the book may be an east way to create a common connection, but forming friendships certainly doesn’t involve required reading. Everyone is welcome and if you’d like to bring a bottle of wine or something sweet or savory that would be lovely.

Jennifer chose to read The Fault In Our Stars because the movie adaption is currently being filmed in Mt Lebanon. Another bonus is that the kindle edition is only $3.99. She, along with several reviewers adore this young adult novel.

Time magazine summed it up nicely:
“One doesn’t throw around phrases like ‘instant classic’ lightly, but I can see The Fault In Our Stars taking its place alongside Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret in the young-adult cannon. Green’s book is also a good example of why so many adult readers are turning to young-adult literature for the pleasures and consolations they used to get from conventional literary fiction.”
