Please join us at Theresa Komoski’s home for November’s book club meeting to discuss Anton DiSclafani’s novel, The Yonahlossee Riding Camp for Girls. Even if, or perhaps especially, the last thing you read was Good Night Moon please come for the laughter, food and drinks. I know this has been written often, but if you don’t have time to read the book please come anyway. Reading the book may be an east way to create a common connection, but forming friendships certainly doesn’t involve required reading.

Cynthia Cable chose this novel. It is a highly lauded debut novel. Named a most anticipated book for summer 2013 by The Wall Street Journal and Publishers Weekly and USA Today, NPR and People summer reads pick. “DiSclafani’s writing is smart and sexy, and her characters are flawed and worth knowing as they navigate through life and don’t always make the wisest decisions.” –NPR.
